About International Medical Insurance
Travel health insurance protects your health while you are traveling domestically or internationally. If you are taking a short trip, emergency medical and evacuation is available without a long application or approval process. Same-day coverage is available on-line with confirmation e-mailed to you. Coverage from $50,000 to $1 million and deductible from $0 to $2,500 can be selected. Some plans allow for an additional hazardous sports rider, if you plan on participating in sports during your trip.

If you plan on staying abroad for an extended period of time, international major insurance will include both emergency and non-emergency medical coverage. Your application will be reviewed by medical underwriters and approved, rejected or accepted with changes in coverage or price. Underwriting process takes approximately one week. Dental riders are available on some plans.
